Bring a CID online

Bring a prepared CID into service after the shared CID Hub setup is complete. These tasks connect the physical device to its CID Hub record, configure its two network paths, and associate it with its instrument in OpenLab CDS.

Onboarding tasks

• Activate a CID: create the CID record and monitor registration and software preparation.
• Configure network cards: configure the Corporate and Instrument network interfaces.
• Configure an instrument: connect the instrument to the CID in OpenLab Control Panel.
