Manage an Agilent support session
Control Agilent remote access to a CID by approving or declining each request and ending an active session when required. Agilent Support cannot open a session without approval from an authorized user in your CID Hub account.
Prerequisites
- The CID must be registered, connected, and have Allow Changes enabled.
- Wait for any other remote-access session or CID operation to finish.
Approve or decline a request
- In CID Hub, click CIDs and select the CID.
- Read the remote-access request banner at the top of the CID page. It identifies the Agilent requester.
- Click Accept to grant the session or Decline to reject it.
End an active session
- Open the CID page. The banner identifies the user accessing the active session.
- Click Close Session.
The tunnel closes immediately. Agilent Support can also close the session. If the banner disappears before you act, the session has already ended.
The approval expires when the session closes. Approve a new request before Agilent Support starts another session.
CID Hub records each request, approval, decline, and session closure in the Activity Log.
