CID Hub 1.3.0 added integrated online help and expanded software-delivery support. The entries below are selected customer-visible highlights from CID Hub 1.3.0.

[1.3.0] - 2026-04

Action required: Install the latest Linux update before using the OpenLab Server connectivity check over TCP/HTTPS on port 443.

Added

  • Added integrated online help in the CID Hub console.
  • Added support for GPC add-on v1.7:
    • The GPC v1.7 package is available in the add-on section of the Software Library.
    • GPC v1.7 can be installed with OpenLab CDS 2.8 base and compatible Feature Pack 2 versions; it is not offered with Feature Pack 1.
  • Added automatic selection of the latest operating-system updates:
    • The latest Windows Update and Linux OS are selected automatically and downloaded to CIDs in the background.
    • An Administrator starts installation when CIDs are not in use.

Changed

  • Changed the OpenLab Server connectivity check to use TCP/HTTPS on port 443.
  • Improved loading performance for the CIDs list page.
  • Moved CDS, drivers, and add-ons to AWS CloudFront to improve worldwide download performance.

Fixed

  • Fixed network-interface initialization so OpenLab CDS registration completes after an interface is renamed.
  • Fixed download validation to prevent empty files from proceeding to installation after a network-related download failure.
  • Fixed network-share configuration so valid paths with spaces and complex passwords work as expected.
  • Fixed DNS search-list updates so a CID's subdomain is restored when the CID is re-added after a factory reset.
  • Fixed component installation so all selected optional drivers can be installed together.
  • Fixed CID status reporting so the Summary and Administration pages show the same connection status.
  • Fixed OpenLab CDS uptime reporting so CID Hub refreshes it after a CID power cycle.
  • Fixed the Software page download progress bar to reach 100% after a driver download completes.
  • Fixed OpenLab Server shared-download settings so cleared network-share and password values remain blank and subsequent CDS image downloads skip the share.
